  • Fit's all 440/550 Kawasaki motors with Threaded Crankshaft

  • NOTE: Zeeltronic Electronics not included.
  • NOTE: The 4 Zeeltronic part numbers needed are below.
  • NOTE: This kit requires moderate electrical and wiring skill.​​
  • NOTE: Upper engine case needs to be threaded, where the pickup plate bolts. Some engines are not threaded, but the holes should be there ready to be tapped. The M6x1.0 Tap is included in this kit.

Testing is complete, and our long awaited Coupler mounted Zeeltronic Fitment Kit is ready to rock! This kit functions on all 440/550 motors as long as you have a Crankshaft with a threaded Driveshaft Coupler. As far as I know only the older 440's do not have a threaded Coupler.

This kit was developed so that our awesome old Kawasaki 440/550's can run new technology programmable High Voltage Ignition, allowing removal of the 1970's technology original equipment system completely. The only thing most of us want to retain is the Charging Coil on the stator, which you can do with this system so it IS a charging system. The OEM Exciter and Pulser on the Stator plate can be deleted completely.

We'll be adding more pictures and data soon, but I wanted to get this up for sale asap. More info can also be found on the Kawasaki 550 Facebook page under Don Thuren.

We will be supplying the hard parts shown, but we are not selling the Zeeltronic Electronic components. Those 4 Zeeltronic part numbers needed are provided below, so with our kit purchased keep in mind you still need to obtain those parts to make all of this work.

- Zeeltronic part numbers needed, are listed below -

1) PDCIS-A02T = Zeeltronic CDI unit specific for watercraft. Get the one that uses the small programming HRS cable, as it is more waterproof.
2) ZK001D = Zeeltronic High Voltage Coil.
3) Z-PICKUP2 = Zeeltronic Pickup. MAKE SURE you get the one ending in "2" as they are different!
4) Z-PCUSB-HRS = Zeeltronic USB Programming Cable for the HRS version CDI.
